Nestled in the beautiful Turtle Mountains of North Dakota, we are a family-run American Quarter Horse program built on a lifelong passion for good horses, strong bloodlines, and the Western way of life.
We’re proud of the horses we’ve raised, the bloodlines we continue to carry forward, and the future we’re building here in the Turtle Mountains.
“There is something about the outside of a horse that is good for the inside of a man.”

I bought Lilly (Guys Gotta Yankee) in 2021, and she has been an absolute dream. She’s willing, hardworking, safe, and incredibly fun to ride. From barrels and poles to showing and jumping, Lilly truly does it all. Together, we’ve competed at the 1D/2D level, finished 1D in the PASE Finals average, and were the 2025 NBHA State 2D Champions. She’s a horse I appreciate more every day!

Hot Doccin Quakin (Quick) has been used for everything from ranching in Utah, Colorado, and Kansas to catching wild cattle, dragging calves, doctoring, and team roping. He’s big, stout, dependable, and even gentle enough for my grandmother to ride. At just six years old, he’s my go-to horse and truly an all-around standout. We love him—and we’ll continue buying Metcalfe colts because they make great horses!

Quakin Lopez Gun (Camo) is the kind of horse everyone loves to have around—gentle, sweet, talented, and incredibly versatile. He can do it all, working both ends in the roping pen and taking care of whoever is in the saddle. From heading and heeling with top-level ropers to packing someone who hadn’t roped in years, he’s simply a very special, dependable horse.
